Hear Directly From the Candidates
We have heard from many community members that it can be challenging to differentiate between candidate platforms with only their websites or pamphlets to rely on. That’s why the OBNN created our Candidate Questionnaire designed to help you understand where candidates stand on some of the issues that matter to you.
Our Process
The questionnaire was designed based on responses in our newsletter about what matters most for you, in addition to some of the key issues from the last four years.
All candidates received the same questionnaire on the same day (September 14) and had until September 27 to respond.
For transparency, all answers are published verbatim, so you can hear directly from the people asking for your vote.
We didn’t edit their responses to change their meaning or tell you what we think. Responses were not summarized or graded. Instead, we provided a space for candidates to clearly articulate their positions, priorities and vision for our community.
